[July:04:2008] : Happy Indie Day

Last night's show went off without a hitch! Plus, we recorded our entire set! Which means, hopefully, we can share the show with those who missed out. Thanks to everyone who made it through the traffic and had a blast celebrating after the fireworks. We have to listen to the recording to see what we've got, but I'm hoping it sounds as great as it felt up there on the stage.

As always, if you have an photos, email them to us. Also, check out the Shows section, because we added a show, and more are on the way!

[June:02:2008] : Changes and more of the same

As you can see, things have been quiet around the MaTK site. Though it hasn't been updated much, we've played a few shows and seen some great performances as well. With much going on in both our families, it has been a very trying and important few months. Taking it all in and focusing the emotion into the music has proven fruitful, though difficult.

We are still recording for the full-length album. With only a few songs left to lay down, we are much closer to completion than we thought! Eight tracks are finished and they sound fantastic We can't set a date for release yet, after pushing it back several times. But we will let you know as soon as we are positive.

[April:03:2008] : News?! What's this?!

Apologies for the lack of content change and whatnot. Things have kind of screeched to a murmur with Zack touring/working and Dave being...well Dave. (work/family/ piles of distraction). We are still here, though! Promise!

[February:25:2008] : Here and There

The last two shows were great fun! The guys of White Rose Confession really rocked something serious and we met some characters down in Dayville. Last week's show at Tammany proved to be worth braving the cold as well! Thanks to everyone who came out the both shows! Thanks to both bands for sharing the stage. And thanks to the karaoke people for ruining several songs for a couple months.

The only other event planned right now is this year's Relay For Life Benefit which we played last year. Unfortunately Zack will be playing with the Accident that weekend, but I'll be attending and playing to raise money for a great cause. More info to come real soon...

[February:03:2008] : Toys in the Basement

I know, I know. You're waiting for videos and mp3s and magic. To wet your whistle, check out 'Dream of Me' over there on the right, or click here if that isn't working.

We've been making some wonderful progress in the studio with It Kills, Call Me, Am I Moving You Yet and a couple others. Each recording seems better than the last, making it clear that it's going to be a tough decision when we pick the final tracks for the album! We've recieved a couple cds/dvds of videos and pictures from friends, plus Jesse Ciras will be forwarding some amazing photos from across the last few years, including the latest show. So we've got a lot to do!

February 9 : SHOW w/ White Rose Confession!!
Check it out!!!

[January:14:2008] :

The house party / show was a great success. The recording and videos and photos all came out great, judging from everything we've heard and seen. With the addition of the new recordings and videos, I'm trying to redesign the music/media area to better accomodate the growing list of lyrics, mp3s, and videos. Be patient with me while I write this rediculous code and make it look pretty and accessible, too!

More to come, always! Shows, videos, updates, photos, merchandise, stuff stuff stuff, and so much more. See you in February.

[January:10:2008] : Shows

We've added a show in February with White Rose Confession. Check the shows area for the info. Other shows are in the works as well. Check back for more info.

We're pumped for this weekends show. We'll let you know as soon as we've got video and audio of the performance edited and mixed down. As we said before, we are looking to get the show out to you all either on CD or as a download. Lots to look forward to as we dig into this new year!

[January:03:2008] : New Year, Secret Show!

Ha-ppy New Year! ...Here's to a crazy, busy, music-driven year. only 362 days left to make it amazing! We've invited a limited number of people to this month's secret show. We will be recording this, audio and video, as well as a ton of photos to be taken. Everything will be up on the site as soon as we can get it all edited and uploaded. The show will be burned to cd, as well as posted to myspace. Eventually it will be for sale via the SNOCAP Myspace music store!

It's been an exciting couple of weeks as we explore the music and rearrange it to fit different instruments. Also, we've been recording and mastering as we go. Watch out, 2008. Ready or not...

[December:24:2007] : Holidays, New Video, Java Hut

Hi everyone, and Merry Christmas. Happy Channukah to a few of you, as well! We recently played the final open mic at the Java Hut. The very last time, supposedly, we'll get to play on that stage. The video posted on the side is from our second set at the end of the night. (once it's gone, you can find it with the other videos on the Music page.)

There's a secret event coming in a couple weeks as well. The first performance for MaTK of the new year. Maybe we'll let you in on it. Maybe we already have? We'll continue recording after this week and push for the Springtime release we've been talking about. We got great feedback about the article from all of you. Thanks. Enjoy the next couple weeks! We'll see you in the New Year!

[November:26:2007] : "I'm Old!" -Zack

You heard him folks! His beard doesn't lie. It's his birthday and he's old!! We're talkin' X amount of years, here. Where X = Old. So, give him a call, send him an email, or just show up and egg The Van! Who has birthdays anymore, anyhow?

[November:20:2007] : FutureBandSite Sounds:

Me and The Kid is undergoing something huge. As a result the website will recieve another facelift. Other details and things to come. In the mean time, have a great Thanksgiving, if you're celebrating, and we'll see you at the upcoming shows!

[November:16:2007} : Show Updates:

Well, well, well. We haven't updated in a while due to some familial and other personal reasons. Sorry to anyone trying to find out info on the upcoming shows. Yes! Upcoming shows! You read correctly. Check out the shows area for all the info, but there are three coming in December. Plus, Zack & I will be conferring and discussing the options before us regarding to the recording and finishing of the next album. A couple of the tracks we've finished are on our myspace.

As for any other info, we'll be trying to update more frequently during the fall/winter months, so keep coming back throughout the season. Thanks everyone for their continued interest and support even in our downtime!

[October:30:2007] : Just have to say it...

Hell friggin' yeah, Red Sox! Sweeeeep. Now we can pay attention to the website again. The World Series is over. Back to work everyone!

[October:21:2007] : The Aftershock & More to Come:

Tammany Hall. What to say? From what I can tell, about 30 of you wonderful people came out to see me play. That, alone, is enough to make me grin like a fool. The people dancing down in front: Beautiful. The guy in the red shirt, John, scary but funny. The set I got to play, an hour and twenty minutes, destroyed my voice, but that energy coming from you guys was what I needed to get through to the end of Shame and It Kills.

Coming down the road - we've got a couple more shows lined up for Me and The Kid. Yes, that means Zack WILL be there! haha. More info to come on those shows when we get it. Goodnight, you crazy late-night show goers!

[September:28:2007] : Great Music

Last night's show at the Java Hut was a phenomenal one. Hagab The Grasshopper and Dan Blakeslee. Amazing, intimate, expressive performances. Our set, from what we experienced and what others told us, what fantastic as well. Everyone should definitely check out both projects and have a listen.

Don't forget, there are other shows coming up. Tonight!! At The Q on Chandler Street in Worcester with Matt Schwachman. Other shows are in the works, but right now the next is October 20 at Tamanny Hall with a great lineup from all over Massachusetts.
